Privacy Policy

Canada · Waviq Technologies Inc.
Effective date: October 1, 2026

This policy explains how Waviq Technologies Inc. handles personal information through its business messaging and workflow automation services, including SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.

1. Who we are

Waviq Technologies Inc. operates Waviq's services in Canada. Questions about this policy or our handling of personal information may be sent to info@waviqtech.com.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on your interaction, we may collect:

3. How we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, operate automated conversations, collect requested business details, arrange requested follow-up, provide and support contracted services, prevent misuse, maintain security, troubleshoot delivery and comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. SMS consent and choices

Our own business SMS assistant at +1 343 429 6588 responds to customer-initiated service enquiries and support questions. Your incoming message provides permission for replies related to that conversation; it does not enrol you in recurring messages or promotional broadcasts. Separate consent is required for messaging beyond that conversation where applicable.

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS or HELP for assistance. We honour opt-out requests. A final opt-out confirmation may be sent, but further SMS messages will not be sent unless you provide renewed consent. Opting out of SMS does not itself cancel an appointment or service agreement. You may contact us by email instead.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

For other channels, you may use the available opt-out method or contact us to request access, correction or deletion. This section describes Waviq's own customer-care SMS service; messaging operated for business clients is subject to their disclosed purpose and consent arrangements.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may use providers for messaging, hosting, artificial-intelligence processing, databases, spreadsheets, security and customer support. Information may be disclosed to these providers as necessary to deliver and support our services, subject to applicable agreements and safeguards. This operational processing does not authorise third-party marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information.

6. International processing

Some providers may process information outside Canada, where different laws may apply. We use reasonable contractual, organisational and technical measures appropriate to the service and information involved.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, contractual requirements, dispute resolution, security and applicable law. Necessary opt-out records may be retained to honour messaging preferences. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Access, correction and deletion

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access or correct personal information or request deletion. Instructions are also available on our Data Deletion page. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

9. Children and sensitive information

Our business automation services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. Do not send medical records, payment-card details or other sensitive information to Waviq's general business-enquiry SMS assistant.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our services, providers or legal obligations. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date.
